Back to School Outfit Ideas

Teen fashion is one of those that many think goes out of style, once you stop, well, being a teenager. Here's the good news. Now you can explore some styles and fashions that would have made some great outfit ideas for school. But just because you're not in school does not mean you cannot wear something that make you feel young at heart. Try the ones given below.

Back to School Outfits for Girls
Tops: As far as tops are concerned, girls always have a wide range of options.

    Try a casual look with a t-shirt in some fresh colors like blues, pinks, oranges, greens, purples etc.
    Otherwise, you can go in for a dressy look, and throw on some tops that have frills, tassels, bows, and even tiny ribbons if you may.
    Another option that you can explore in the summer, is a spaghetti strap top with a jacket or a shirt, in a very light cotton fabric, over it. Checks are the all time favorite!
    You can also try out some pretty knee length, summer dresses in different patterns and match them with some casual flip flops.

Bottoms: For bottoms, you can try out the ones given below.

    Jeans! The classic bottom for people of all ages! Everyone owns a pair of jeans, but to go for back to school outfits for middle school, try out some faded ones, or ones with slits. Remember those days when your mum was flabbergasted because you cut up your jeans? Well, they're still the best bet for cute back to school outfits for high school girls too!
    Another option that will NEVER go out of style, is skirts! You can never go wrong with a pretty knee length skirt. Tiny floral prints are my personal favorite, but I'm sure you know what style you identify with most, so you have an array of different skirt patterns and prints to choose from.
    One more back to school idea can be to wear some comfy capris. Yes, the 3/4ths are back with a bang, and you can team it up with a casual or dressy top! Both look fabulous!
    Baggy cargos are another avenue you can explore. When worn with the right footwear and accessories, this makes for a good back-to-school-out-on-a-camping-trip look!



Back to School Outfits for Guys
Tops: Guys can try out the following ideas for a back to school look.

    T-shirts in different dull colors are what kids in school generally wear. But if that's not your type, you can definitely try some in bright color.
    Checkered shirts, with a plain t-shirt inside, will give you the ultimate teenage boy look.
    Another option is jerseys. Favorite football or baseball jerseys will give you a good back to school look.

Bottoms: For bottoms, guys can experiment with these ideas.

    Like girls, jeans are an all time favorite for guys as well. Loose, baggy jeans, with a belt, will work well for a school boy look.
    Shorts, up to the knee though. Again, checks are a hit with shorts too! Or try floral Hawaiian prints for a summer barbecue!
    Casual lightweight pants also work well, if a semi formal look is what you're going for.
    Three fourth length, comfortable bottoms are an option for guys too. But for the tops with these 3/4ths, guys will be better off wearing a t-shirt, or a shirt over a t-shirt, rather than just a shirt.
