Acupressure Points for Weight Loss
The acupressure points for weight loss are located in different parts of the body. To aid in identifying the points, it is recommended, one takes help from reflexology map of the body. When you press the said point and point and flex your foot, if you feel the muscle under the finger move, you have found the right point. Put pressure on the point for about 15 to 30 seconds. It is important that pressure be applied on Point 36 on both the legs, lest it will create an imbalance in the body. This point should not be used by pregnant women.

After you have found the St 36 point, slide your fingers to the inside of the leg and up towards the knee, till you come across a natural depression. The depression is the Spleen 9 point. Activating this point helps in regulating the water metabolism of the body. This point is especially useful for people who suffer from water retention issues.

To locate the point move your finger about one finger width away from the elbow joint towards the inside of the crease. When you are using this pressure point, it is recommended that you keep your hand closer to your body. It is best to apply pressure to the left arm point and then to the right arm point.
