The first day of school is a very important day for any teenage girl. And with the ever changing fashion and plethora of fashion clothing options available, it has become easy, as well as difficult to decide what to wear. Let us look into some ideas that you can use for your first day of school, or otherwise too!
Skirts
Skirts can, and never will go out of style. And just saying skirts is quite a wide area actually. You can choose from different types of skirts, according to what you think suits your personality, and body type the best. For school, you can try on some pretty floral skirts. Or just a plain mini-skirt, with a cute top and shrug to match. Straight fit skirts are a big no-no for school. They restrict your movements, and you'll feel uncomfortable in it, the whole day. You can choose from frilly, plain, printed, long, short, pleated, divided, plaid, checkered, bohemian, wrap-arounds, embroidered and many more styles and patterns of skirts, to give you a girly and confident look.
Leggings
Another option is outfits with leggings. There's a lot that can be done with leggings. One idea is, to wear a pair of dark leggings, in black or navy blue, or even a dark chocolate or coffee brown. Team it with a long dressy top, that falls below your waist. If you're going for a printed top, go in for large prints. And if you're going for a plain top with the leggings, you can use some stylish fashion accessories for teens, like a chunky necklace and bracelet. Another option for leggings is, wear a pair of really short shorts over the leggings, and wear a top with a sleeveless denim jacket. You can also substitute the shorts with a mini skirt. You can also use these as outfit ideas for a concert by adding some bling, like stone earrings and an encrusted chain with a matching bracelet, and some high heels!
Dresses
Nothing makes you look more feminine than a girl dress! But wearing a dress for school, should be handled with care. You don't want to look extra casual by wearing a dull dress, and neither do you want to look like you're going for a new year's eve party. So, as far as dresses are concerned, go for something simple, sweet and yet stylish. Small floral prints in pastels look great, especially when teamed with a sweater in a darker shade. The right accessories like, a simple silver chain with a small pretty pendant and small studs will complete the look.
Jeans
The classic outfit idea for anybody, of any age, and in any part of the world. With jeans, you have so many option to choose for trendy teen clothing. Shirts, t-shirts, knit tops, sweaters, sweatshirts, dressy tops, simple tops with jackets, or shrugs, etc. all go extremely well with jeans, as you may already know. In jeans, too you have a variety of choices. The latest are snugly fitting, skinny jeans, which come in a soft denim fabric, which stretches. They look great, and are very comfortable too. Faded jeans are another option that will never look bad. Just make sure, that the entire ensemble has a pleasing effect, and not one of an untidy and grubby looking person. Faded jeans can look classy too, you just have to know what to wear with it. Dark colored tops plain, with heavy accessories look perfect.
